Forged-aluminum 20″ Shelby American wheels are wrapped in 275/35 front and 305/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The car rides on a performance track handling suspension added by Shelby American, and stopping power is provided by blue Shelby-branded six- and four-piston brake calipers mounted over slotted rotors. Cooling ducts for the front brakes were also installed as part of the Super Snake package.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in Ebony leather with contrasting perforated microsuede inserts, and embroidered Shelby Super Snake insignias accent the backrests of the heated, cooled, and power-adjustable front seats. Appointments include dual-zone climate control, a rear-view camera, a short-throw shifter with a Shelby Super Snake-branded cueball shift knob, and an optional 12-speaker Shaker Pro audio system as well as SYNC 3 infotainment with an 8″ touchscreen, voice-activated navigation, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.
A carbon fiber steering wheel with leather grips and a blue centering stripe has been added, and it frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. Additional gauges for boost pressure, fuel pressure, and oil pressure and mounted in a carbon-fiber pod affixed to the top of the dashboard. The odometer indicates 2,500 miles, approximately 750 of which were added by the seller.
Plaques mounted under the hood and to the passenger side of the dashboard identify the car as a 50th Anniversary Super Snake and note the individual Shelby American CSM number 17SS0304.
The 5.0-liter V8 was modified by Shelby American with a polished Whipple supercharger, a performance air intake, a Shelby cooling system, and an aluminum heat exchanger in addition to high-performance fuel injectors, an upgraded billet throttle body, and a Shelby-tuned Borla exhaust system. Output is reported to exceed 750 horsepower. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission linked to a one-piece drive shaft, a limited-slip differential with 3:73:1 gearing, and Shelby Performance half-shafts. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below.
A Shelby American vehicle authenticity certificate will accompany the car along with a Ford window sticker, a Shelby American supplemental window sticker, and manufacturer’s literature.
