Black 20″ forged Shelby American wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 275/35 up front and 305/30 out back. A track-tuned suspension with adjustable coilovers was added by Shelby, and stopping power is provided by red Shelby-branded Wilwood calipers. Cooling ducts for the front brakes were also installed as part of the Super Snake package.
The heated and cooled front seats are upholstered in Ebony leather and feature perforated microsuede inserts as well as deviated red stitching and embroidered Shelby logos. Amenities include power windows and mirrors, remote keyless entry, push-button start, a Barton short-throw shifter, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, Shelby-branded floor mats, a navigation system, and a 12-speaker Shaker audio system.
A leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer along with readouts for coolant temperature and fuel level. Additional Cobalt gauges for boost pressure, fuel pressure, and oil pressure are mounted in a carbon-fiber pod atop the dash. The digital odometer indicates 1,300 miles.
The passenger-side dashboard plaque identifies the car as a Super Snake and notes the individual Shelby American CSM number 17SS0129.
The factory 5.0-liter V8 received Super Snake–specific modifications that included the installation of a polished Whipple supercharger, a performance air intake, a Shelby cooling system, an aluminum heat exchanger, high-performance fuel injectors, an upgraded throttle body, and a Shelby-tuned Borla exhaust. Output is reported to exceed 750 horsepower. An oil change was carried out in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission linked to a one-piece drive shaft, a Wavetrac limited-slip differential, and Shelby Performance heavy-duty half-shafts.
The Shelby build sheet details specifications and options, and it displays a package price of $68,820 along with the original vehicle price of $41,180, yielding a total price of $110,000. The Ford window sticker is also included in the sale and depicted in the gallery.
