The hand-assembled twin-turbocharged M279 6.0-liter V12 was factory rated at 621 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque and features a carbon-fiber engine cover. An AMG sports exhaust system was standard equipment on the S65.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission.
