Finished in textured black, the truck underwent a 6×6 conversion by Apocalypse Manufacturing of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Work included the installation of a second rear axle along with a cargo bed and carbon-fiber fender flares. Additional exterior features include an AMG front bumper with air inlets, a Kevlar-finished brush guard, a roll bar, rain-sensing wipers, running boards, LED lighting, a swing-away tailgate, and an AMG Performance exhaust system with twin side-exit outlets. The Carfax report notes an accident in October 2020 resulting in air bag deployment and damage to the undercarriage.
Black 22″ Fuel wheels are wrapped in 37×15.50″ Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. Stopping power is provided by red-painted AMG calipers over cross-drilled discs at all six wheels. The truck is equipped with speed-sensitive variable-ratio steering and AMG Ride Control suspension.
The cabin is upholstered in Designo Mystic Red leather with black accents and features heated and ventilated front bucket seats and a split-folding rear bench. Amenities include three-zone automatic climate control, multicolor ambient lighting, a sunroof, Burmester audio, and COMAND infotainment with navigation. Driver aids consist of Distronic automatic distance control, blind spot assist, Parktronic, lane keeping assist, and a reverse-view camera.
A multi-function AMG Performance steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and frames a 12.3″ digital display with a 180-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and customizable display zones. The odometer indicates 40k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 was factory-rated at 577 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, and the engine wears a plaque that displays the name of the AMG specialist who assembled it.
Power is sent to all six wheels through an AMG Speedshift TCT nine-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, three locking differentials, and three portal axles. Additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery below.
