Halibrand-style 15″ wheels with gray-finished centers and bright lips are secured with three-eared knock-offs and safety wires. Staggered-width Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires are fitted. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.
The cockpit is trimmed in black leather with a color-coordinated dashboard and carpets. Appointments include latch-and-link lap belts, a heater, an ashtray, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a fire extinguisher, a lockable glovebox, and tinted sun visors.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer. Auxiliary gauges are mounted on the dashboard. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 6k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added under current ownership.
The 302ci V8 features an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold as well as GT40 cylinder heads and March underdrive pulleys.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a 4.11:1 rear end.
The New York title lists the identification number as AC9CSLK1396AM1099, which matches the VIN plate shown above and the manufacturer’s statement of origin shown in the image gallery.
