The Roush 427R crate engine features an iron block, a steel crankshaft, steel H-beam connecting rods, forged aluminum pistons, CNC-ported aluminum cylinder heads, an MSD ignition system, and an Aviaid competition oil system. A March 2023 service reportedly included installing a BLP billet aluminum carburetor, changing the oil, and replacing the distributor cap and rotor, spark plug wires, and spark plugs.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKX five-speed transmission that is said to have been installed in May 2022.
