Silver-finished 15″ steel wheels with flush covers are mounted with Nexen SB-302 tires that should be replaced due to age. A spare is located in the engine compartment and the car is equipped with disc brakes up front. The brake fluid and the front shocks were replaced in 2019.
The cabin features fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in red along with matching carpets and body-color surfaces. Equipment includes lap belts, a wood shift knob, a rear-view mirror, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel.
Instrumentation includes a central tachometer, an inoperative 200-km/h speedometer, and a combination gauge for temperature and fuel level. The mechanical odometer shows 26k kilometers (~16k miles), approximately 5k of which have been added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown. The fuel gauge does not read accurately.
The mid-mounted 1,600cc flat-four is equipped with dual carburetors and was rebuilt in 2013 by Ovals Motorsports of Milton, Washington. Work included adjusting the carburetors as well as replacing the bearings, camshaft, lifters, oil pump, pistons and liners, cylinder heads, and a fuel line. Additional maintenance included replacing the spark plugs, points, and ignition wires in 2019. An inspection conducted in June 2022 identified an oil leak as well as rough running.
Power is routed through a four-speed manual transaxle, and additional underbody photographs are provided in the gallery below.
