The car is finished in black with silver stripes, and features include chrome-finished bumperettes, a hood scoop, a roll bar for the driver, polished rear stone guards, and dual side-exit exhaust pipes. A scuff on the nose under the oil cooler is shown up close in the gallery below.
Aluminum 15″ Halibrand-style wheels are secured with three-eared knockoffs and mounted with 245/60 front and 295/50 rear Cooper Cobra Radial G/T white-letter tires. The car is equipped with Spax Performance adjustable front coilovers, rack-and-pinion steering, front and rear sway bars, and a Jaguar independent rear suspension that makes use of inboard disc brakes at the rear. The selling dealer states that the brakes were rebuilt in preparation for the sale.
The fixed-back bucket seats and dashboard are trimmed in black leather upholstery, and the color-coordinating carpeting extends from the cockpit to the trunk. Appointments include four-point harnesses, door map pockets, wind wings, and translucent sun visors in addition to a glove box, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, and metal AC-branded clutch and brake pedals.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of Stewart Warner instrumentation that includes a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, amperage, fuel level, and oil temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 168 miles, which is said to represent the distance traveled since the completion of the build.
The selling dealer states that the car is powered by a side-oiler 427ci V8 equipped with a quartet of Weber 48 IDA carburetors that were initially set up by Inglese Induction. The cylinder heads have reportedly been ported and polished, and additional equipment is said to consist of polished intake trumpets, finned valve covers with Cobra 427 lettering, a high-capacity oil pump, and an aluminum fuel tank. According to the selling dealer, the fluids were changed, the fuel system was cleaned, and the carburetors were adjusted in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a McLeod clutch and scatter shield, a close-ratio four-speed Ford Toploader manual transmission, and a Jaguar rear differential with 3.54:1 gearing per the selling dealer. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
