Ten-spoke 17″ alloy wheels are mounted with Sumitomo HTR tires measuring 275/40 up front and 315/35 out back. The independent front and three-link rear suspension features Penske adjustable coilovers. Braking is handled by AP Racing six-piston front and four-piston rear brake calipers over slotted and ventilated rotors with dual Tilton master cylinders featuring adjustable bias. A brake fluid flush was performed in preparation for the sale.
The cockpit features a roll cage with door bars and houses a Richardson Racing Products seat with a Schroth Racing harness for the driver opposite a Kirkey Racing with a Simpson harness for the the passenger. Additional equipment includes a RaceQuip window net, a Lifeline fire suppression system, a MoTeC video capture system, and a Kenwood radio and transponder.
The three-spoke OMP steering wheel is wrapped in leather and mounted to a quick-release hub. The custom dash features fluorescent labels above the various toggle and accessory switches. Instrumentation consists of a MoTeC C127 LCD color digital dash display and data logger. The digital odometer indicates 6k miles, all of which were added under current ownership.
The 331ci V8 is equipped with a Trick Flow intake manifold and aluminum cylinder heads as well as a custom air intake fed by a hood-mounted scoop. The engine is controlled by a Megasquirt MS III ECU, which is connected to the Motec C127 unit via a CAN network. The car is equipped with an Accusump oil collector and external oil cooler as well as a 32-gallon Fuel Safe fuel cell and an aluminum radiator with an electric puller fan. A February 2019 dynamometer report is presented in the gallery. An oil change was performed in anticipation of the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission with a Quick Time steel bellhousing and a Tilton 7.25” twin-disc clutch assembly. The 8.8″ Moser Engineering full-floating rear axle is fitted with a limited-slip differential, an aluminum carrier cover, 3.73:1 gearing, and 31-spline axles with inboard seals. Custom stainless-steel headers fabricated by James Evangelisti of Boost Engineering wear HeaderShield material and flow into Burns Stainless collectors as well as 3” racing mufflers that exit ahead of the rear wheels.
Three sets of 17″ American Racing ten-spoke alloy wheels with 9.5″ and 11″ offsets are included in the sale. One set wears Sumitomo street tires, another is mounted with Hoosier Racing R-8 tires, and the third is fitted with Hoosier Racing rain tires. A spare radiator and a 3.31:1 ratio ring and pinion setare also included in the sale and can be viewed in the gallery.
