The truck was repainted its current shade of metallic dark grey and was fitted with fiberglass rear fenders, an aftermarket steel hood, and a replacement welded frame during the refurbishment. The glass and weatherstripping are also said to have been replaced at that time, and additional details include running boards, twin chrome side mirrors, side-exit exhaust outlets, and a wood-lined bed with polished runners. Aftermarket chrome 15” five-spoke wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich front and Mickey Thomas rear tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted disc brakes at all four corners. The truck rides on a Mustang II independent front suspension and a triangulated four-link rear setup with a front sway bar and chrome QA1 coilovers all around.
The interior houses low-back bucket seats that are trimmed in black vinyl with gray fabric centers along with gray microsuede door panels and black carpeting. A Vintage Air climate control system has been installed and additional appointments include an Alpine head unit mounted overhead, a Hurst shifter, power windows, and a polished tilt steering column.
An aftermarket steering wheel fronts Omega Kustom instrumentation, including a 140-speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 674 miles, all of which were added by the seller.
The Ford 347ci V8 was installed by the seller and is equipped with polished valve covers. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch and a Ford 9” Positraction rear end with 3.70:1 gears.
