15″ steel wheels wear black and chrome hubcaps as well as thin whitewall tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel hydraulic drums, and the car rides on independent suspension with coil springs at all four corners.
The cabin features low-back bucket seats upholstered in tan leather, matching door panels, and brown carpets. Amenities include burl wood trim on the dash and doors, a fold-down rear bench, a central ashtray atop the dashboard, and a Telefunken five-band radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames factory instrumentation consisting of an analog clock, a 160-mph speedometer, and central gauges for temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 49k kilometers (~30k miles), the majority of which were added by the current owner since 1959. True mileage is unknown.
A set of fitted luggage will accompany the car along with factory workshop manuals and a tool kit.
The 2,195cc inline-six features a two-barrel Solex carburetor and was factory rated at 79 horsepower and 105 lb-ft of torque. The car was serviced by Burback Motors of Portland, Oregon, in 2020, and the battery was replaced in preparation for the sale. A photo of engine stamping 18092005018 is shown in the gallery below, and the number is listed on the title as the VIN.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a column-shifted four-speed manual transmission. The selling dealer has provided a driving video below.
