Chrome 14” wire wheels feature faux knock-off spinners and are mounted with BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires. A full-size spare is found in the trunk. Braking is through Swift Sure power-assisted drums at all four corners, and the car is equipped with Master Guide power steering.
Pleated Colonial vinyl upholstery (XK) is accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and dark blue carpets as well as engine-turned trim. Equipment includes a heater, a Dial-A-Matic power seat, and a digital AM/FM cassette stereo.
A three-spoke steering wheel with a chrome horn ring frames a 140-mph speedometer and a 5k-rpm tachometer, as well as a clock and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 3k miles, around 150 of which have been added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The F-code 312ci Y-block V8 is equipped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and a Paxton/McCulloch VR57 supercharger and was rated at 300 horsepower and 340 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Additional underbody images are provided in the gallery below.
