The 327ci V8 was factory equipped with Rochester mechanical fuel injection and a high-lift camshaft for a rating of 360 horsepower when new. The selling dealer states that the fuel-injection unit and the cylinder heads were overhauled in 2022.
The stamping on the engine pad is shown above. The RF suffix is consistent with a 327ci V8 rated at 360 horsepower and designated for a 1962 Corvette with Rochester mechanical fuel injection, a high-lift camshaft, and a manual transmission.
