Polished 15″ wheels wear Porsche crest covers and are mounted with 165-width Michelin XZX tires. Braking is handled by disc brakes at all four corners. The front brake pads were replaced in 2014, and a brake fluid flush was performed in January 2021. Wear is evident on the driver-side wheels as shown in photos included in the gallery.
The front bucket seats were reportedly retrimmed in black leather in 2000, and matching upholstery extends to the fold-down rear seats. The carpeting, headliner, door panels, push-button radio, and speakers were replaced in 1985, and additional features include Coco floor mats, a lockable glove box, three-point belts, and an analog clock.
VDO instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline. The five-digit odometer has have rolled over at least once and now shows 26k miles. Approximately 58k miles have been added during current ownership, and total mileage is unknown.
The air-cooled 1.6-liter 616/16 flat-four was factory rated at 95 horsepower and 91 lb-ft of torque. The dual carburetors were rebuilt in 1999, and service in 2014 included a valve adjustment along with the installation of a PerTronix electronic ignition system and replacement valve cover gaskets. The spark plugs were replaced and the oil was changed in January 2021.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle that was resealed in 2002. Additional photos of the underbody are included in the gallery, along with a selection of receipts from work performed over the years.
