The 15″ wheels are mounted with Firestone Deluxe Champion whitewall tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by four-wheel power-assisted drums.
Cabin elements are said to have been removed and replaced during the refurbishment. The two bucket seats are upholstered in tan leather, and amenities include a heater, an AM/FM radio, an analog clock, power windows, and air conditioning.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 13 miles and has reportedly rolled over. Total mileage is unknown.
The 327ci V8 was reportedly overhauled in 2017.
The last six digits of the engine stamping viewable above matches the last six digits of the number shown on the chassis plate. The SK suffix is viewable in the gallery and corresponds with a 250-horsepower, 327ci V8 for use with an automatic transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.
