Finished from the factory in Riverside Red (923), the fiberglass body was removed from the frame and fitted with Z06-style quarter panels before being repainted in its current shade of Brandy Wine metallic. Chrome 16” and 17” American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels wearing faux-knock-offs are mounted with BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp2 tires that measure 215/55 up front and 275/40 out back. The car is equipped with power-assisted steering and four-wheel disc brakes with cross-drilled rotors and red-finished calipers.
The bucket seats have been reupholstered in black leather with perforated inserts and feature contrasting burgundy stitching as well as Stingray scripts embroidered on the backrests. Leather upholstery extends to the dash and door panels, and the radio and analog clock have been removed.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline. The five-digit odometer was reset to zero during the refurbishment and now shows 800 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 383ci stroker V8 is reportedly fitted with an aluminum intake manifold and cylinder heads as well as an aluminum radiator with an electric fan and 2 ½” exhaust pipes.
Power is sent to the wheels through a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission and a rear end with 3.73:1 gearing. The underbody has been coated with Rhino liner.
