Delivered from the factory in Riverside Red (923A), the car is said to have received bodywork before a repaint in its current red by Vettecraft during the 2010s refurbishment. Features include split bumpers, hidden headlights, faux fender vents, aluminum rocker-panel moldings, and dual exhaust outlets with chrome tips that extend through the rear valance. The bumpers were re-chromed during the refurbishment, and replacement headlight motors and reverse and license plate lights were reportedly fitted along with a new wiring harness.
The black soft top features a plastic rear window and was installed during the refurbishment. The 15″ steel wheels wear spinner-style covers and are mounted with BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall bias-ply tires. The front control arms and shocks, as well as the rear springs, were reportedly refreshed during the refurbishment, and replacement brake and fuel lines were installed.
The cabin features bucket seats and door panels trimmed in black vinyl. New black carpets were fitted during the refurbishment along with a replacement glovebox door, and the seat belts and sun visors were refreshed. Equipment includes a Delco AM/FM radio, manual crank wind wings and windows, and a clock.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The instrumentation was reportedly serviced and recalibrated under current ownership. The five-digit odometer shows one mile and is currently disconnected. Total mileage is unknown.
The 327ci L76 V8 features a high-lift camshaft as well as finned valve covers and was rated at 365 horsepower from the factory. The engine is said to have been rebuilt during the refurbishment, and a replacement Harrison aluminum radiator was installed along with a replacement alternator, starter, volt regulator, water pump, and fuel pump. The heater core is also said to have been rebuilt.
The engine stamping includes the digits 121084, which match the final six digits of the number on the serial number plate shown below. The RE suffix corresponds with an L76 327ci/365-horsepower V8 engine equipped with a high-lift camshaft and paired with a manual transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission, which is said to have been rebuilt along with the rear differential during the refurbishment. A new exhaust system was also fitted.
