The 15” Kelsey-Hayes steel wheels feature polished covers with faux knock-off spinners, and are mounted with Firestone-branded bias-ply whitewall tires sourced from Coker Tire. The seller notes that the suspension components were refinished during the refurbishment. Various scratches are visible on the wheel covers.
The cabin was lined with sound deadening material and features twin bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl with matching door panels and loop carpets. Additional equipment includes a vertically-mounted Delco AM/FM radio, a Hurst shifter, and lap belts for both occupants. The faux-wood steering wheel rim shows a crack, and the dash-mounted clock is said to be inoperable.
Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer was reset during the refurbishment and shows just over 100 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The L76 327ci V8 was factory rated at 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque and featured an aluminum “snowflake” intake manifold, an 11:1 compression ratio, a Duntov 30/30 camshaft with solid lifters, and a 2.5″ diameter exhaust system. The car is equipped with a 2818-1 Holley carburetor that has been modified in the style of a 2818 unit, according to the seller.
The final six digits of the engine block stamping read 104599, which matches the last six digits of the VIN tag. The RE suffix to the right indicates a 327ci V8 with a factory rating of 365 horsepower for manual-transmission applications.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission. The frame was reportedly refinished during the refurbishment.
