Exterior features include aftermarket bumpers, Gulf decals and #36 roundels, a front lip spoiler, a Lexan rear window with straps, orange headlight covers, front and rear tow hooks, hood pins, and a bullet-style driver’s side mirror. A spare front grille surround and fiberglass rear bumpers accompany the vehicle.
The 15” Torq Thrust wheels are mounted on Cobra Automotive hubs and wear Hoosier semi-slick tires. Braking is handled by Wilwood front discs, SSBC Mustang-spec 10” rear discs, Raybestos pads, and dual master cylinders. The seller notes that the removed rear drum brake assembly will accompany the vehicle, along with ten spare wheels, six of which are mounted with rain tires. The stripped cabin houses a padded roll cage with door bars, as well as a Kirkey fixed-back bucket seat with head restraints and Schroth harnesses. An MSD 6ALN ignition box is mounted to the dash, and additional features include a window net, aluminum door panels, CoolShirt and fire suppression systems, toggle switches for vehicle functions, a Hurst shifter, Painless Wiring fusebox, and a Garmin digital display. An uninstalled Kirkey passenger seat is included in the sale.
A Sparco steering wheel with a quick-release sits ahead of a column-mounted Ford Racing 10k-rpm tachometer and an aluminum instrument panel housing Stewart Warner instrumentation that includes a 160-mph speedometer. An analog clock, an hour meter, and an oil temperature gauge are mounted below the dash. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 170 miles, while the hour meter indicates 52 hours, around 13 of which are said to have been put on the currently-installed engine. Total mileage is unknown. Spare gauges will accompany the vehicle.
The 289ci V8 was built in May 2020 by Carlquist Competition Engines of Oakville, Connecticut and features dry-sump lubrication and 12.5:1 compression, along with the following components:
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Jerico four-speed manual transmission with a McLeod 10” carbon-ceramic clutch, an Action Machine aluminum driveshaft, and a Quick Performance 9” rear end housing 31-spline Moser axles and a limited-slip differential with a 3.89:1 gear ratio. The seller notes that a spare differential with a 4.11:1 gear ratio will accompany the vehicle.
