The 15″ Kelsey Hayes turbine wheels are fitted with three-ear knock-off hubs and are mounted with 7.75-15 Goodyear Power Cushion gold line bias-ply tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring out back. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs at all four corners.
The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Features include a vertically-mounted Delco AM/FM radio, a clock, tinted glass, power windows, Chevrolet-branded rubber mats, and lap belts for both occupants.
The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a telescoping column and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 77k miles, less than 100 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 327ci L76 V8 is fitted with an optional off-road exhaust and was factory rated at 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
The stamping on the engine block pad ends in 106611, which matches the last six digits of the vehicle’s serial number. The HH suffix corresponds with an L76 327ci engine equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and a four-speed manual transmission. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission and a 3.70:1 Positraction rear differential.
