Delivered from the factory in Ruby Red (6402), the car received bodywork under current ownership by Ralph “Mutt” Brawley of Carolina Coach Crafters in Mooresville, North Carolina and was painted by Brandon Pensirini of Altissimo Custom Paint & Restoration. Features include chrome bumper guards, gold cursive script on the rear decklid, pop-out quarter windows, a left-side mirror, four-screw horn grilles, Hella fog lights, a fender-mounted antenna, and a single polished exhaust outlet.

Chrome-finished 15″ ventilated steel wheels wear polished Porsche crest hubcaps and are mounted with 165-width Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. A matching spare wheel and tire are located in the front trunk. Koni shocks have been installed, and stopping power is provided by discs at all four corners.
The cabin features seats upholstered in black leatherette along with color-coordinated door panels and replacement carpets. The wood-trimmed dash houses a Blaupunkt push-button AM/FM radio with a central speaker, and additional equipment includes lap seatbelts, a locking glove box, a Webasto heater, and a polished rearview mirror.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames VDO green-letter instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 150-mph speedometer, a clock, and combination gauges. The five-digit odometer now shows 200 miles, and total mileage is unknown.
The 2.0-liter 901/01 flat-six features twin Solex carburetors and was factory rated at 130 horsepower. The engine is said to have been rebuilt during current ownership, and service in anticipation of the sale consisted of replacing the ignition points and spark plugs along with testing the distributor.
The engine number stamping *900992* is pictured above.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a non-stamped replacement five-speed manual transaxle. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery.
The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists factory colors, equipment, powertrain numbers, and an April 7, 1965, completion date. A copy of the Kardex is provided in the gallery.
