Additional exterior features include horn-grille-mounted Cibie driving lights with covers, a front bumper absent of guards or fog lamps, a driver-side mirror, dual megaphone exhaust tips with cookie-cutter inserts, and decals recreating the No. 47 livery it wore en route to an eighth-place overall finish in the 1969 24 Hours of Daytona.
Torque-thrust wheels feature spokes finished in dark gray and are wrapped in Pirelli Cinturato tires measuring 185/70VR15 up front and 215/60VR15 at the rear. Stopping is handled by hydraulic disc brakes at each corner.
The cabin houses a pair of fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in black leatherette amid color-keyed door panels and carpeting. The rear seats have been removed, and additional features include a welded-in roll cage, a Simpson driver’s harness, and a branded radio blanking plate.
The four-spoke steering wheel’s wood rim wears a partial wrap and frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer flanked by a 150-mph speedometer, a clock, and combination gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 41k miles, approximately 50 of which have been added under current ownership.
The 1,991cc Type 901/01 flat-six breathes through a pair of triple-throat Weber carburetors. The selling dealer notes that the car would require a full inspection and servicing prior to being returned to racing use.
Engine number *901811* is shown stamped on the crankcase and matches the number listed on the Kardex.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Type 901/0 five-speed manual transaxle with a dogleg shift pattern.
The Kardex lists the original colors and equipment numbers as well as delivery to Dr. Harold Williamson through Brumos Porsche.
The car is shown above during the 1969 24 Hours of Daytona en route to a second-place finish in the Touring 2.0 class, which was won by the No. 14 Porsche 911 seen above.
