Reproduction knock-off wheels are mounted with gold-line tires. The brakes are said to have been rebuilt, and the shocks, control arms, sway bars, and bushings have been replaced.
The interior features bucket seats with black upholstery separated by a center console. The window seals, cranks, and door handles have been replaced, and the faded black carpeting is protected by Corvette-script mats. The clock has been rebuilt, and an AM/FM radio is mounted below it in the center stack.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline. The five-digit odometer shows 65k miles, and approximately 1k miles have been added by the seller. The odometer is inoperative; true mileage is unknown.
The 427ci V8 is said to exhibit a casting indicating its manufacture in early 1966. The engine was overbored .030″ and was rebuilt by the seller with Diamond forged pistons for a 9.2:1 compression ratio. The Holley 780-cfm carburetor and cylinder heads have been rebuilt. Other components reportedly include Eagle connecting rods, a custom-ground hydraulic roller camshaft, Speedmaster stainless-steel rocker arms, and Breakerless ignition. The rotating assembly was balanced, and the fuel pump and fuel lines have been replaced. The engine-stamping pad was machined during the rebuild.
The Muncie four-speed manual transmission reportedly received a replacement clutch and is paired with a limited-slip differential with 3.70:1 gearing. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
