The cabin features a fixed-back driver’s seat and a passenger-side bucket seat upholstered in black leatherette. Interior features include woodgrain dashboard trim, lap belts, and Coco floor mats. The interior lights and Webasto heater are inoperable. The removed driver’s seat is included in the sale.
The wood-rimmed four-spoke steering wheel fronts green-letter VDO instruments including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 150-mph speedometer, a clock, and combination gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 28k miles, approximately 300 of which were added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.0-liter flat-six was reportedly rebuilt to a displacement of 2.2 liters utilizing oversized cylinders and pistons. An oil change was completed in August 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Type 901 five-speed manual transaxle. An aftermarket muffler has been installed in place of the factory unit.
The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists a delivery date of March 30, 1966, as well as factory colors, drivetrain numbers, and options. A copy of the Kardex is pictured in the gallery below.
