The turbine-style 15″ wheels are mounted with Coker Classic tires. The car features a fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The cabin has been reupholstered and features two bucket seats trimmed in Teal Blue vinyl as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include a heater, an analog clock, and lap belts. The car is not equipped with a radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, battery charge, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 17k miles, approximately 800 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 427ci V8 features aluminum cylinder heads and an aluminum radiator as well as a polished air filter assembly with “427” graphics.
The engine block stamping is shown above and contains the suffix LR, indicating a 427ci V8 initially produced for use in a 1969 Corvette.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction differential. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.
