The car was delivered new in Candyapple Red (T) and was refinished under previous ownership. Features include white side and tail stripes, side scoops, hood pins, a rear spoiler, a special taillight panel, and dual twin-tipped exhaust outlets as well as GT/CS and California Special badging. Marchal fog lights have been installed in the grille.
Bright 14″ steel wheels wear GT hubcaps and trim rings, and they are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car received the GT Equipment Group and also power-assisted front disc brakes and power steering from the factory.
The interior has been redone in black and features bucket seats with headrests, GT/CS-branded floor mats, a center console, and a Hurst shifter. The car has been rewired with a Painless Wiring harness, and a Philco-branded AM radio is located in the center stack.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of a 120-mph speedometer, a trip odometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges to monitor fuel level and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 20k miles, approximately 600 of which have been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
The S-code 390ci V8 was rated at 325 horsepower and 427 lb-ft of torque when new, and it was rebuilt in October 2017. The engine is finished in blue and features a finned air cleaner and valve covers. An export brace and a chrome-finished curved Monte Carlo bar also have been added. The oil was changed in May 2022.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission, which received a replacement clutch in 2020. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
