Originally finished in Tangerine (6809), the car has reportedly been repainted Blood Orange (018). Bodywork was performed on both sides of the vehicle in December 2018 by Richmond’s Automotive of Newark, Delaware, and a receipt from the work is provided in the gallery. Features include rear bumper guards with rubber inserts, a removable roof panel and brushed silver Targa bar, a heated glass rear window, chrome headlight rings, and bullet-style side mirrors. The 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels wear Vredstein Sprint Classic tires measuring 185/70 and showing 2018 date codes. An alloy spare wheel shod with an older Michelin tire is located under the front hood. Adjustable Koni front struts have been installed and the front wheel bearings were serviced in 2018.
The seats have been reupholstered in black vinyl with matching door panels and carpets. Equipment includes an older cassette radio, brushed dash trim, and a fire extinguisher mounted in the passenger footwell. Lap belts are fitted for the front occupants.
A suede-wrapped Sparco steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation that includes an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 6k miles, though total mileage is unknown.
The 2.0-liter Type 901 flat-six features twin Weber carburetors. The oil pressure switch was replaced in 2018 and reproduction underhood stickers were also affixed.
Engine stamping *3281432* matches the number listed on the Porsche Production Specifications certificate shown below.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle, which is believed to be a replacement. Previous repairs are noted around the pedal box, and additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery.
