Work completed as part of the refurbishment is said to have included rebuilding the brakes, installing polyurethane suspension bushings and adjustable control arms as well as a replacement brake master cylinder, vacuum booster, wheels, and tires. A spare wheel and tire is stored in the trunk.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench reupholstered in red vinyl and joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Additional features include a center console, air conditioning, door-panel armrests, lap belts for the front occupants, and a vintage-look Buick stereo wired to six speakers and a subwoofer. The seller notes that the weather seals were replaced as part of the refurbishment, and the interior floor and underside were coated with POR-15 at that time.
The red-rimmed steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer and an analog clock. A trio of auxiliary gauges mounted beneath the dashboard display oil pressure, battery status, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows under 71k miles, approximately 13k of which have been added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 455ci V8 was installed under prior ownership and features a four-barrel carburetor. Work completed as part of the refurbishment included installing an aluminum radiator and stainless steel fuel tank along with replacing the starter, fuel pump, and fuel level sending unit. Work completed in 2022 is said to have consisted of rebuilding the air conditioning compressor and recharging the system, replacing the battery, and changing the engine oil and differential fluid.
