The car was finished from the factory in Tuxedo Black (10) with white stripes and was stripped and refinished in 2017. Silver 15″ Rally wheels wear chrome trim rings and center caps and are mounted with Goodyear Wide Tread GT white-letter tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs at all four corners. The car was fitted with a JL8 rear axle and rear disc brake components under previous ownership.
The front bucket seats and contoured rear bench are upholstered in black vinyl and joined by a color-coordinated replacement dash pad and door panels. Equipment includes a Delco push-button AM radio, a heater, lap belts, and hand-crank windows.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline accompanied by a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 39k miles, less than 100 of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 302ci V8 was rebuilt by Camaro Hi-Performance of Eldersburg, Maryland, in July 2008 and features an air-injection reactor, a polished air cleaner assembly, an aluminum intake manifold, and finned valve covers.
The engine code shown above ends in DZ, which corresponds with a 302ci/290hp V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Various other powertrain and component stamps are shown in the gallery.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a replacement Muncie M22 four-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt Positraction rear axle with 4.10:1 gears. The transmission and rear axle were rebuilt during the refurbishment.
A 2022-dated Certificate of Authenticity from Camaro Hi-Performance LLC and Jerry MacNeish is included in the sale along with service invoices and a detailed report outlining build information, factory options, and component assessments.
A spare reproduction cross-ram intake manifold and carburetors will accompany the car.
