The 14” Super Stock II-style wheels feature chrome trim rings and are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. Braking is through front discs and rear drums that were fitted with replacement lines in 2011. Work in 2021 reportedly included an alignment and replacement of the shocks, upper ball joints, sway bar links, outer wheel bearings, control arm bushings, upper control arm shafts, and center steering link.
The cabin houses front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl with a matching dashboard and door panels. Black carpets line the floors, and faux-woodgrain trim extends from the dash to the door panels and center console. Features include a push-button AM radio and a Hurst Dual-Gate shifter. The seller notes tears on the driver’s seat.
A four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock, and a combination gauge. An aftermarket tachometer and oil pressure gauge are fitted to the steering column. The five-digit odometer has rolled over during current ownership and now shows approximately 4k miles. Around 20k miles have been added during current ownership, though total mileage is unknown. The analog clock is inaccurate.
The replacement 455ci V8 was overhauled in 2011 by Wagamon Brothers of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and work included re-grinding the crankshaft, honing the block, refurbishing the connecting rods, and replacing the rear main seal, oil pump, and bearings. MSD electronic ignition and a single Edelbrock carburetor have been added. The fuel tank and straps were reportedly replaced in 2018.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt Positraction differential with a W27 housing. Additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery below.
