Engine-block stamping 70Z114611 matches the final nine digits of the car’s serial number. Additional photos in the gallery show a YZ stamping, which identifies the engine as a 400ci Ram Air III V8.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission and a 3.23:1 Safe-T-Track differential.
