The four-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline, a 150-mph speedometer, and a combination fuel level and temperature gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 44k miles, approximately 400 of which were added by the selling dealer.
Power comes from a rebuilt 2.0-liter flat-six equipped with rebuilt Weber carburetors, and it is linked to a Type 901 five-speed manual transaxle that was rebuilt in 2014. Maintenance completed in 2020 included a valve adjustment, an engine-out reseal, an oil change, and replacement of the ignition coil. Per the seller, the timing chain was replaced in 2013, and replacement clutch components were installed in 2012.
Stamping ☆6405398☆ is shown above matches the number listed on the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, confirming the engine as original. Transaxle stamping 7502152 is shown in the gallery and also matches the CoA.
