Fuchs 14″ wheels were reportedly anodized and repainted in 2021 and are wrapped in 185/70 Pirelli CN36 tires. Bilstein shocks are fitted. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs, and the brake fluid was changed in January 2023.
The cabin features fixed-back bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl along with a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. An AM/FM Blaupunkt stereo is fitted with an auxiliary input. Additional appointments include a heater, a center storage console, and a fire extinguisher attached to the passenger seat. The seller states that the pedal cluster was overhauled in 2019.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and a fuel level gauge. The odometer was repaired under prior ownership and currently shows 62k miles. The seller reports that approximately 9k miles have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The mid-mounted 2.0L flat-six is equipped with dual Weber triple-barrel carburetors that were overhauled in 2017. The valves were adjusted in 2018, and the oil was changed in 2023. Compression and leak-down test results from May 2023 are presented in the gallery below. Smoke from the tailpipe can be seen when the car is started. The engine oil was changed in preparation for sale per the seller.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. A Leistritz exhaust was installed in 2014.
A Porsche Classic Certification document from 1991 lists factory equipment and shows that the car was manufactured in March 1971.
