Fuchs-style 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 195/55 Dunlop Direzza ZIII tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes fitted with front calipers reportedly sourced from a BMW 320i and later 914 calipers in the rear. The lowered suspension is equipped with Bilstein shocks and Tarett Engineering adjustable sway bars. A set of uninstalled steel wheels with Michelin tires and polished hubcaps is included in the sale.
The cabin features two-way adjustable bucket seats that were reupholstered in black vinyl with textured inserts as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpeting. Equipment includes a heater, Coco floor mats, a center console, and a Retrosound stereo with Bluetooth connectivity.
A Momo Prototipo steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and a fuel level gauge. Auxiliary gauges mounted in the center stack display oil pressure along with oil and cylinder head temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 52k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The factory steering wheel is included in the sale.
The mid-mounted 2.3-liter flat-four was built by PMB Performance of Sandy, Utah, and is equipped with electronic fuel-injection, Jenvey throttle bodies, 356-style air filters, Tangerine Racing headers, heat exchangers, and muffler, a front-mounted oil cooler, and an Optima Red Top battery.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle fitted with a Tangerine Racing shift linkage. Additional photos of the underbody are presented in the gallery.
The factory engine is included in the sale along with a radio and additional spare parts.
