Finished from the factory in white (19), the body was removed from the frame and repainted in the current shade of white with a Union Jack motif on the rear panel during the refurbishment. Additional details include a black soft top, a front spoiler, a union jack grill emblem and bodyside decals, a fabricated blue top boot and tonneau cover, mesh headlight covers, dual side mirrors, and chrome bumpers. The hood and trunk lid are equipped with aftermarket gas struts, and the seller reports that red and blue pinstripes were added under current ownership. There are two punctures in the soft top behind the right window, and additional photos of the exterior and trim are provided in the gallery below.
Steel 15″ wheels wear polished trim rings and are wrapped in 215/70 BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial red-line tires with 2019 date codes. The suspension is equipped with aftermarket front and rear sway bars along with polyurethane bushings and adjustable GAZ front shocks. The power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes are said to have been overhauled during the refurbishment process and work included replacing the brake lines, hoses, pads, rotors, and shoes.
The blue vinyl Suffolk bucket seats were installed under current ownership and are joined by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Additional details include a replacement wood dashboard, a RetroSound Hermosa receiver paired with aftermarket front speakers and JBL rear speakers in fabricated housings, and a wood center console with a padded armrest and a cupholder. Custom blue floor mats were installed in 2021. A fire extinguisher is mounted behind the seats, an auxiliary hood release is located under the passenger side of the dashboard, and the inside of the glove box door features a Union Jack and a Kirby Chambliss signature.
A wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges displaying fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 2k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership. The true mileage is unknown.
The 2.5-liter inline-six was rebuilt during the refurbishment and is equipped with a polished intake manifold, triple Weber 40DCOE carburetors, PerTronix electronic ignition, a tubular header, a dual exhaust system, a finned aluminum valve cover, and an aluminum radiator with a polished shroud. Service in 2019 included replacing the thermostat, coolant temperature sender, and spark plugs.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The rear end was rebuilt with a 3.45:1 ring and pinion in March 2021. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.
Additional items included in the sale consist of the removed factory seats, a stock front sway bar, Triumph-branded floor mats, spare components, manufacturer’s literature, original purchase documents, TR6 literature, and service records.
