The car was optioned with gold-finished 15″ Fuchs forged alloy wheels, each of which were refinished in 2015. Bridgestone Potenza tires that were fitted in 2012 measure 195/60 in front and 215/60 out back. Standard Carrera equipment includes four-wheel disc brakes, and this example is fitted with Turbo-specification tie rods.
The cabin features seats upholstered in red leather-to-sample upholstery with matching treatments for the door panels and rear parcel shelf. Additional features include air conditioning, power windows, and a Blaupunkt cassette player.
The leather-covered three-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a raised hub and sits in front of VDO instrumentation including combination gauges, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and an analog clock. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows over 37k miles. Records indicate that the speedometer was repaired in 2017, and total mileage is unknown.
The air-cooled 2.7L flat-six is equipped with fuel injection and is mated to a five-speed manual transaxle and an optional limited-slip differential. Servicing completed in 2012 included a valve adjustment, installation of oil-fed chain tensioners, and seal and gasket replacements as noted in the service records below. The engine was serviced with an oil change in 2020, and work conducted in preparation for the sale included adjustment of the air fuel mixture and replacement of the spark plugs, rear brake calipers, and rear swaybar bushings.
Stamping ☆63404565☆ is shown above and matches the number listed on the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, confirming the engine as original. Transaxle stamping 341726 is shown in the gallery and also matches the CoA.
