Factory 16″ steel wheels were installed under current ownership and have been refinished to match the roof color. The wheels wear polished hub caps and are mounted with 285/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 white-letter tires that were installed in March 2022. Hellwig rear springs and dual front shocks are fitted. The brake fluid was changed and the front brake pads and calipers were replaced in August 2022.
The cab features a tan vinyl bench seat along with matching door panels and a carpeted dash pad. Additional features include a column-mounted shifter, wing windows, an ashtray in the dash, a Kelsey-Hayes trailer brake controller, and an AM/FM radio. The carpeting and upholstery are said to have been replaced and the air conditioning system does not blow cold.
A two-spoke steering wheel fronts an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 28k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership. The instrument cluster has been serviced multiple times since 2003, and total mileage is unknown.
The 390ci V8 was reportedly rebuilt under previous ownership with hardened valve seats. An oil change was performed in 2021, and work in August 2022 included the replacement of the battery, starter solenoid, and negative battery cable.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a replacement three-speed C6 automatic transmission and a one-ton axle with a limited-slip differential, both of which were reportedly installed under previous ownership. The truck is equipped with dual fuel tanks, and a replacement exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers has been fitted.
