Polished Fuchs-style 15” wheels are mounted with 205/60 Ríken Raptor HR tires that are said to have been fitted in March 2023. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin features front bucket seats trimmed in black leather, along with color-coordinated door panels and folding rear seats. Additional appointments include a heater, manual windows, Coco floor mats, and an aftermarket CD stereo. The interior lights and clock are said to be nonfunctional.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and supplemental gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 119k miles, approximately 2,500 of which have been added under current ownership.
The air-cooled 2.7-liter flat-six was factory rated at 175 horsepower and 197 lb-ft of torque. The seller states that the fuel tank support was replaced in 2014, and work carried out by the seller’s shop since March 2022 is said to have included replacement of the fuel injectors, oil cooler, engine compartment sound pad, and the battery, which wears a 2018 date code. Oil leaks were also reportedly repaired at that time, and the distributor and CDI box were serviced. The smog pump has been removed.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Servicing in March 2022 included replacing the clutch and a transmission pinion bearing. Corrosion is visible on underside components, and additional photos of the underside are viewable in the gallery.
