Silver 14″ five-spoke alloy wheels wear Ferrari caps and are wrapped with 205/70 Vredestein Sprint Classic tires that were mounted in October 2019. A matching spare wheel with an older Michelin tire is stored in the front trunk. The car features a fully independent suspension with double wishbones front and rear, and stopping power is provided by ventilated discs at each corner. The front shocks are leaking, and the seller recommends refurbishing the wheels and center caps.
The cockpit features bolstered seats trimmed in Rosso leather with black accents as well as a black dash and red door panels. Equipment includes a gated shifter with a dogleg gear pattern as well as a cassette stereo, a rear defroster, and electric windows. The air conditioning, heater, and Blaupunkt Berlin radio do not work. The outboard bolster on the left seat is worn through, the right sun visor is damaged, and the seller recommends refinishing the window mouldings.
The three-spoke MOMO steering wheel is leather-wrapped and frames Veglia instrumentation including a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline accompanied by a 180-mph speedometer as well as an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, water temperature, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 43k miles. A service record from October 2009 indicates an odometer reading higher than the subsequent readings.
The 2.9L quad-cam V8 is mid-mounted and equipped with four twin-choke Weber 40DCNF carburetors. Factory-rated output was 237 horsepower. Service records indicate that the last timing belt service was performed in December 1986 and that a crack in the oil pan was repaired in September 2013. The engine cover insulation pad is coming unglued, and the vinyl rear cargo cover has shrunk and will not close properly.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. An ANSA exhaust system was installed in December 1986, and a replacement muffler was fitted in November 2005. The rear impact bumper is melted above the exhaust outlets, rust is visible on underbody components, and the seller notes damage to various pinch welds.
The car is titled using the sequence F106AB22601 shown above, which combines the engine designation and chassis number.
