The car was repainted in its current shade of black in 2010 by Jack’s Auto Body in Burbank, California, and a replacement windshield and weatherstripping were fitted at that time. Exterior features include Euro-spec headlights with chrome surrounds as well as fog lights, twin side mirrors, and rear bumperettes. The car was optioned without a sunroof. Scuffs are evident on the driver-side window trim, and a chip is present on the rear bumper.

The 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels show imperfections and are mounted with 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires which show date codes from 2018 and 2019, respectively. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, and the rear brake calipers, pads, and lines were replaced in July 2019. Bilstein shocks are stationed out back. A June 2023 inspection report viewable in the gallery recommends an alignment, a brake fluid flush, and replacing the front shocks.
The sport seats are upholstered in brown leather. Amenities include a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, and two sets of floor mats. An Audiomobile equalizer has been added to the center console, and a carphone keypad is stationed beside the ignition switch. Photos detailing wear on interior surfaces, discoloration of the headliner, cracks in the front passenger seat, and tears in the driver’s seat and left-rear seat are presented in the gallery.
The three-spoke steering wheel has been reupholstered and frames a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 150-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 150k miles, approximately 2,500 of which were added under current ownership. The speedometer sensor was replaced in February 2019, and thus total mileage is unknown.
The 3.0-liter flat-six features Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 172 horsepower and 189 lb-ft of torque. Service performed in July 2019 by TRE Motorsports in Van Nuys, California, included a valve adjustment and replacing the spark plugs. The timing chain tensioners were retrofitted for hydraulic operation and replacement oil lines were fitted in April 2020. Fire damage is noted in an August 1985 invoice shown in the gallery below. According to the seller, the engine needs a top-end rebuild. Cylinder compression and leak down tests were performed in July 2023 and the result can be seen below:
