Fuchs 16″ wheels with black centers and anodized lips are mounted with Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires that show 2019 date codes. Sport shock absorbers were optioned when new, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.
The interior features bolstered black leather seats along with matching carpets, floor mats, door panels, and trim. A Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo has been added and additional amenities include air conditioning, power windows and locks, aftermarket floor mats, and a center console. The passenger window is said to roll down slowly.
The leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline, a 150-mph speedometer, combination gauges, and an analog clock. The six-digit odometer shows 41k miles, approximately 11k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.0-liter flat-six was factory rated at 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. The seller has replaced the fuel tank and pump, and service carried out since July 2021 included rebuilding the pedal assembly and replacing the timing chain tensioners, valve covers and gaskets, oil pressure switch, thermostat O-ring, and bell crank bushings. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle that was rebuilt in July 2021 and fitted with a new clutch, flywheel, and aluminum pressure plate. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery.
The Porsche Production Specifications Certificate shows factory colors, optional equipment, and a production completion date in September 1978.
