The front sport seats are upholstered in black leather, and the cabin features a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. Interior features include a Porsche-branded cassette stereo, power windows, and an air conditioning system that has been converted to use R134a refrigerant.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 9k miles, approximately 400 of which were added under current ownership.
The turbocharged and intercooled 3.3-liter flat-six was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 291 lb-ft of torque. The oil pump, air filter, and secondary air injection pump filter were replaced in February 2015, and fluids services were performed at that time. The timing tensioners are said to have been updated in March 2001, and a revised wastegate has been installed along with a stainless-steel muffler. Work in preparation for the sale is said to have included an oil change, overhauling the alternator, and replacing the spark plugs, oil return tubes, exhaust gaskets, and hood struts.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle and an optional limited-slip differential. The gear oil was changed in preparation for the sale. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.
