A relay has reportedly been wired into the headlight circuit, and rock chips and scratches are visible on the front bumper cover and rear fenders. Black-finished 16″ Fuchs-style wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle GT+4 tires that are in need of replacement due to age. The car is equipped with four-piston brake calipers and cross-drilled rotors at each corner. The seller states that recent service included flushing the brake fluid and replacing the rear wheel bearings, suspension arm bushings, CV joints, brake pads, front rotors, and brake hoses.
The interior features seats trimmed in Cork leather, which are complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, and a short shifter. The seller states that the air conditioning system has been converted to R-134a refrigerant and the shifter bushings were replaced under current ownership. The automatic cabin temperature control does not work, and a scratch on the dash is visible below the radio along with discoloration above the glovebox.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a central VDO 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset boost-pressure gauge flanked by a 150-mph speedometer, auxiliary combination gauges, and a clock. The steering column bushings are said to have been replaced under current ownership. The six-digit odometer shows 82k miles, approximately 19k of which were added under current ownership.
The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six was overhauled in 2016. Work included polishing the crankshaft, balancing the rotating assembly, and refurbishing the cylinder heads, rocker arms, turbocharger, and fuel distributor. The following components were replaced at that time:
An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale, and oil leaks are noted by the seller. The exhaust reactors and other emissions equipment have been removed.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. The transaxle was reportedly resealed and serviced with a replacement clutch cable and synchronizers in 2017.
