The Duesenberg II featured a custom X-frame chassis and utilized Ford Twin I-Beam front suspension along with power-assisted steering and brakes. A new brake booster and master cylinder were installed by the selling dealer in 2020. Flaws in the chrome on the wire wheels are noted.
The cabin features tan leather upholstery on the bench seat and door panels along with matching carpets. Amenities include a Ford-sourced HVAC system, power windows, and a Yamaha AM/FM/cassette stereo. The car is equipped with air conditioning and cruise control, although both systems do not work.
The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a tilt steering column ahead of an engine-turned dash panel housing Stewart Warner gauges, a Jaeger chronograph, and Ford-sourced warning lamps. Just over 15k miles are shown on the five-digit odometer, a handful of which were added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.
A reverse-hinged clamshell trunk features tan carpeting and houses the folding top and full-size spare.
The Ford-Sourced 460ci V8 is housed under the top-hinged hood. A tune-up was reportedly performed in preparation for the sale.
