The carbureted 4.5-liter 1FZ inline-six was reportedly rebuilt and installed during refurbishment work completed prior to the trucks importation. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed H55F manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, both of which are said to have been rebuilt along with the front and rear differentials.
