The seller notes that the wipers occasionally swipe once without being switched on, and states that the driver-side windshield mounting hole needs re-threading.
Polished 15″ steel wheels are wrapped in 32×11.5″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires, and a matching spare is mounted to the swing-away tire carrier. The truck features front disc brakes, locking front hubs, and power steering, and a 4″ lift kit has been installed according to the seller.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in black vinyl with gray accents. Amenities include a a passenger grab bar, a Kenwood cassette stereo, an equalizer, Clarion speakers, three-point seat belts, and Jeep-branded rubber floor mats. Wear on the seats is shown, and seam splitting is noted on the driver’s seat. Spots of rust can be seen on the floors as well as the windshield frame where the hardtop is attached.
A three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 6k-rpm tachometer, while an 85-mph speedometer is mounted centrally on the dashboard along with an ammeter and an oil pressure gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 33k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership. The “Air” pull knob on the instrument panel is said to remain connected but has been dislodged in its mount.
The 4.2-liter inline-six has been modified with a Weber carburetor. The radiator was reportedly replaced under current ownership, an aftermarket finned valve cover was installed, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale. The seller notes an oil leak is present.
Power is delivered to all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Rust is visible on underside components, and additional details can be seen in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and displays history from its first entry in November 1988 in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and New Hampshire. The most recent mileage recording on the Carfax report indicates 35k miles in 2019, which is higher than the current odometer reading of 33k miles.
