The car is finished in Agate Green Metallic and features a front spoiler with integrated fog lights, yellow-tinted headlights, a sunroof, polished aluminum trim, a power antenna, a US-style decklid spoiler, and twin center-exit exhaust outlets. The left-rear quarter panel and rear decklid were repainted in December 1989, and the hood, front fenders, and mirrors were reportedly refinished under previous ownership. Paint protection film is said to be applied to the front spoiler, the front edge of the hood, and the fenders, wheel arches, and mirrors. The seller notes blemishes in the finish, a dent on the roof, and cracks and scratches on the front air dam.
Replacement 17″ style 32 wheels are mounted with 235/45 front and 255/40 rear Continental ExtremeContact tires. The car is equipped with a MacPherson strut semi-trailing arm suspension, Bilstein shocks, a Mason Engineering strut tower brace, and front and rear anti-roll bars. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs with ABS and ventilated front rotors. Service under current ownership has included the replacement of the tires, brake booster, master cylinder seals, a power steering hose, and the front control arm bushings.
The front sport seats and rear bench were replaced under previous ownership and are upholstered in brown leather. Additional interior amenities include air conditioning, power windows and door locks, CoCo floor mats, a short throw shifter, an Alcantara shifter boot, and an aftermarket sound system with an Alpine stereo.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer that replaced the factory metric speedometer after the car was imported in 1984 along with an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, instant fuel economy, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 132k miles, approximately 16k of which were added under current ownership. The instrument panel was removed and resoldered in June 2020.
The 3.5-liter M88/3 inline-six was rebuilt in June 2020 with Mahle pistons and replacement main bearings and rod bearings. The same service included the replacement of the fuel pump and radiator and a reseal of the fuel tank. The oil pan gasket was replaced in June 2021 and the oil was changed in April 2023. The seller states that the catalytic converters have been removed.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Service in November 2018 included a transmission fluid flush, a resurfacing of the flywheel, and the replacement of the transmission and rear differential mounts as well as the clutch slave cylinder, release arm, release bearing, and guide sleeve. An April 2023 service invoice states that the transmission input shaft bushing is leaking.
