Staggered-width 16″ Fuchs wheels with bright rims and body-color centers wear 205/55 front and 245/50 rear BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp-2 tires. The M491 option included the braking system from the contemporary 911 Turbo. A brake-fluid flush was performed in preparation for sale.
The interior features gray leather upholstery with lighter carpeting throughout and black trim on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. The driver’s seat shows wear and has a split, the dash cap is warped, and the air conditioning, Blaupunkt cassette stereo, and cruise control are all inoperable.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation that includes a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 144k miles, approximately 24k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.2-liter flat-six was factory rated at 200 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque. Recent service included an engine oil and filter change as well as replacement of the gas support shocks for the front and rear deck lids. The alternator and battery were replaced in 2020. The seller notes an oil smell after the engine has been running.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the car’s underside can be viewed in the gallery. The seller notes that the transmission does not shift cleanly.
