The cabin was optioned without a sunroof and features seating surfaces trimmed in black cloth accented by blue and green Alpina stripes. Grey houndstooth-patterned inserts accent the door panels, and amenities include air conditioning, an Alpina wooden shift knob and floor mats, power windows, a Sony GPS unit mounted on the dash, and an AM/FM cassette stereo system.
The Alpina four-spoke steering wheel frames an Alpina-branded 270-km/h speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 70k kilometers (~43k miles), around 300 of which were added by the seller.
A plaque mounted ahead of the shifter designates this C2 as serial number 002.
The 2.5-liter inline-six was rated at 182 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque when new. Work performed in preparation for the sale is said to have included changing the fluids and filters, adjusting the valves, and replacing the expansion tank, temperature sensor, fan clutch, timing belt and tensioner, fan belts, spark plugs, and the distributor cap and rotor.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The driveshaft flex disc was replaced in April 2023, per the seller.
