The 16″ Fuchs alloys were refinished in November 2017 by Weidman’s Wheels in Oroville, California. Tires are a mixed set of 225/50 Dunlop Direzza DZ102s from 2015 and 245/45 Toyo Proxes T1Rs showing 2016 date codes. Service in July 2019 included replacing the front brake pads and rotors as well as cleaning and repacking the front wheel bearings.
The cabin features power height-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather, along with a matching dash pad, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes power windows, air conditioning, Turbo-branded Lloyds floor mats, a Blaupunkt CD player, and aftermarket cabin speakers. The seller notes that the passenger-side automatic door lock is inoperable and that the dash has buckled due to leather shrinkage.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation including a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for boost pressure, fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 127k miles, approximately 4k of which were added by the seller. The seller states that the boost-pressure gauge is inaccurate.
The turbocharged and intercooled 3.3-liter flat-six was rated at 282 horsepower with 289 lb-ft of torque when new. In July 2019, the previous owner performed an engine-out service that consisted of rebuilding the distributor and wastegate, adjusting the valve clearances, resealing the valve covers, installing a Dansk muffler, and replacing the spark plugs and the fuel, air, and oil filters. The seller states the factory muffler, catalytic converter, and air injection parts are included in the sale.
Both the four-speed manual transaxle and limited-slip differential were rebuilt during the July 2019 engine-out service by the previous owner. Work included replacing the synchro bands, dog teeth for 1st and 3rd, and sliding sleeves for 3rd and 4th. The differential received new cone washers, side gear thrust washers, and friction discs.
